Lomonds of Fife route.
Starts just above Strathmiglo Village Hall 1km tarmac path with great views to the hills. Then it gets a little gnarly as we go up to the plateau between the hills. pass Creagmead car park then over to East Lomond top, where a marshal will take your number. Straight back to road crossing and water stop then 2.5km to West Lomond top, weather permitting drop down to the 'Bunnet stane' using very steep grass bank (recommended to stay on your feet) then back to spring check point, then traverse across hillside to re-enter woods and follow marked course to the finish. Park at the hall or safely nearby. The road outside the hall can be used by combine harvesters which are extremely wide.
