This event will be held on the open moorland and small hills to the West of Loch Doon. The terrain is predominantly heather moorland with some small hills which give better runnability and drier conditions underfoot, with some contour detail, small crags and boulders. There are very few trees across the area.
Due to the time of year and the open nature of the terrain competitors are strongly advised to carry a whistle and take a lightweight waterproof if the weather is particularly bad.
We will have a string course set up close to the parking area.
