In its first year, Falmouth Road Runners are delighted to be hosting the all new Rosemullion Head 10k. A multi-terrain event where runners will be treated to some of the most spectacular views the Helford has to offer!
The race starts from Carwinion Road Playing Field in Mawnan Smith, and after a brief tarmac start you will soon be hitting the trail down to Nansidwell where the real fun begins along the South West Coast Path!
The route passes around Rosemullion Head, across undulating fields, ancient woodland and secluded coves along the north shores of the Helford River. A bridleway climb will head you up out of Durgan, before a fast section of trail and road heads you back down to Carwinion - before a testing climb sets you up for the finish line!
Although this is a challenging 10k the race is suitable for all. Just be sure to bring your trail shoes and be prepared for some hills, mud and technical descents…
