New organisers, New venue and New courses.
Both courses start at Jubilee Park behind Pennine View Caravan Park. Race HQ, registration and parking are at Pennine View Caravan Park, Station Road, Kirkby Stephen, CA17 4SZ.
The 20k Fell Race heads past Wharton Hall. It then climbs to the top of High Pike before dropping down to the Swaledale road at Tailbridge. The final stage ascends to the Nine Standards, then back down to Hartley and along the disused railway line back to the finish in Stenkrith Park. The minimum age is 18. Includes 2,200 ft of ascent.
The 10k Yomp, follows the fell race course to the road at Thringill, it then follows roads and footpaths through Nateby and Ladthwaite before rejoining the fell race route at Fell Gate.
Landowners have given permission for the Yomp routes to cross their land on the day of the event only. This restricted permission in no way constitutes agreement to any right of way.
All finishers on the 10km yomp receive a certificate and medal.
Registrations are between 8.30 am and 10:30 depending on the course. Full details are provided upon booking.
