The Pendle Way In A Day route takes in the villages of Pendle in East Lancashire along the footpaths and bridleways in the picturesque moorlands of the local countryside. The route is waymarked with the infamous Pendle Witch although a full map, GPX files and Written Instructions will be provided.
Pendle Way On A Midsummers Night
Starting from in Barley at night, you will take a short hop over Pendle to catch the Sunset atop of the mighty Hill before winding your way through the valleys and nightime of the Pendle valleys with your headtorch guiding the way!
At approximately 24miles, you'll have a choice to make - cut short and make for the finish line at 30miles or head on into the night for the full 45miles. But don't fret, you don't need to decide which until the night (or is it morning??)
Either way, there'll be a hearty warm welcome back at the finish line.
This fresh take on the Pendle Way is great for nightime navigation practice, and a fabulous time out on the trails as part of a group.
