Due North Trail Race Series 2024
The first race in the Due North Race Series is set at the beautiful riverside location of Burnsall. Taking in several sections of the Dales Way footpath with around 500m of ascent. Climbs rewarded with 360 degree views of the Yorkshire Dales. Riverside paths, stone tracks and open fields provide a great mix of terrain suitable for those new to trail running but also plenty of challenges and interest for the more experienced trail runner. A perfect introduction to the Due North Race series
Race Venue – Start/Finish:
BD23 6BU - Riverside Car park field in Burnsall Village.
With the Red Lion Pub in front of you, go over the Bridge on the right and the car park field is immediately on the right. Due North Marshalls will be here to organise parking and direct you to the registration tent. Further parking is also available in a small car park near the village green as well as roadside parking.

Registration:
Open from 8:30am. Runners will need to register at the tent in the car park by 9.45 to collect your race number.

Race Start:
The race will start at 10am from the same car park & registration field.
Kit requirements:
For each race you are required to have the minimum of a
- Waterproof jacket with hood,
- Cup/bottle – no cups are provided at the drink stations
- Mobile phone with a location app such as OS Locate https://shop.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/apps/other-apps/os-locate/, or other location app
- Hat & Gloves
