The Raptor starts and finishes on the outskirts of Lancaster, and is a great ride that explores the many miles of remote cycling country in and around the nearby area of Bowland. 

Quiet roads and lanes throughout – along with breath taking scenery and challenging ascents. 

Peddle to the very center of The British Isles (the phone box on Dunsop Bridges village green) as well as experiencing some of the roads that Wiggo did to get ready for the 2012 Tour de France and Olympic Games....

• Start between 0900 & 1000 hrs
• free secure parking on tarmac car park @ 3-1-5 Health Club, Lancaster
• on site toilets inside 3-1-5 Health Club
• rider registration on the club's car park on the day
• friendly team of experienced marshals and helpers
• British Cycling public liability insurance
• 1 x fully equipped ambulance staffed by 2 x professional paramedics
• GPX files of route sent out with event day information email in week before the event
• stunning scenery, quiet roads and lanes throughout the ride
• fully way-marked route with distinctive arrows and safety signs
