Competitors will set off on the hour every hour to complete the 4.167 mile loop. They must complete the yard within the hour to enter the next hour. All competitors will DNF until the last person to finish a loop by themselves is crowned the course champion.

You must be the last person standing to win this event. All other competitors will DNF.

Camping Facilities available at the start/finish. Parking area will be confirmed. Limited space for campervans must be pre-arranged. The easiest access is via the rail station at Kirkstall Forge a short walk from the venue. Please use public transport to minimise environmental impact of travel. You will be able to set up camp for you and your support crew for the duration of the event.

Food - please bring your own special nutrition to fuel you through the event, we will provide aid stations & facilities at the start/finish but it's always best to eat what you've trained with!

The bell will be sounded exactly on the hour and if you have failed to make the starting area before the bell rings, then you will be disqualified from the event and will become one of the many DNF’s!

There will be only 1 athlete who does not receive a DNF and they will be crowned the champion on completion of the last lap!

All competitors will receive a Yorkshire Goodie Bag, hot and cold drinks, and sweets etc. Eco friendly t-shirts & hoodies are available to order before the event for collection at the event, and all participants will receive a Yorkshire goodie bag.

The day course is not flat and has an elevation gain on each yard, saying that, it can easily be completed inside the 1-hour time limit. It is a mixture of canal towpath, farmland trail, woodland trail and tarmac paths. There will be a night yard to avoid crossing the canal in the dark, this is a tarmac canal towpath.

You must wear appropriate clothing for the weather, if the event team feel that you are not appropriately dressed you will not be allowed to continue. If you are tough enough to run all day and into the night, you’re going to need a headtorch and spare batteries.
