For those of you who like your trail running Feats to be BIG, we give to you the Classic Element Race Series. Four trail running events based on the 4 classic elements Air, Water, Fire and Earth. Whether it’s running under never-ending sky (Air), battling over ancient rugged coastline (Water), pushing yourself on under a relentless sun (Fire) or clawing over muddy hills and through rainy valleys (Earth), BigFeat Events have developed a series of races that will challenge you, Awaken you and Inspire you.
Symbolizing the classic element Air and with 2 distances to choose from; 18 miles or Marathon, BigSky is the 4th event in the Classic Element Trail Race Series. It starts just after sunrise from Hyde Common, one of the highest points of the New Forest National Park in Hampshire. As dawn becomes day and your race begins, you’ll set off under a dome of Southern England sky, with spectacular views that stretch from horizon to horizon. You’ll navigate wide open plains and winding forest trails in this unique part of the country where deer, cattle, horses and ponies roam free! A bespoke medal awaits you at the finish!
