Aim: To walk or run up to three different loops in the Holmfirth surround as you wish.
The loops are Loop A (11.6 miles/18.5km), Loop B (7.2 miles/11.5km) and Loop C (4.2 miles/6.7km).
You can walk any number of loops but you must do them in order of length with the longest first and the shortest last.
There are cut off times for starting Loop B (14:00) and Loop C (15:30).
Registration/Start & Finish: Brockholes Village Hall, Brockholes, Holmfirth HD9 7EB. (GR SE153109). Registration opens from 7.30am.
Start time: Mass start at 8.30am.

Entry fee: Advance entry LDWA £12, Non LDWA £15. On the day £20 (cash only. We don't do change!) U-16s free.
Entrants: Both LDWA and non-LDWA walkers and runners are welcome. Limit 150. Wait list when full.
U-18s must be LDWA members or walk with parent/guardian. U-16s must walk with parent/guardian. Dogs: Allowed but under constant control.
Entry includes: Tea and toast at registration, snacks and cold drinks between loops, meal at finish and certificate.
Please bring your own mug to use on the event.
In relation to any person who has a dietary condition or food allergy. It is your responsibility to identify this and take relevant precautions in regards to what you consume at the event. The organiser cannot say whether the food it supplies will have been in contact with any allergen during its manufacture or preparation and is not responsible for your own actions in regards to its consumption.
Equipment: This event goes over moorland terrain, urban terrain and roads. It will also be taking place in early winter where the nights are drawing in and the weather can be inclement. As a minimum you are required to have with you waterproof clothing, a spare top, suitable footwear, a head or hand torch with spare batteries, a first aid kit. A compass, whistle, a survival bag(not blanket) a route description and map of the route (electronic ones are allowed provided they are downloaded, enough power is in the device and a back up power supply is available).
Participants who retire from the event, must do so at a checkpoint. Marshals have the right to withdraw participants if their fitness is in doubt or they are behind schedule.
