BMBO National Champs - Day Two 3 Hours
A weekend of fantastic Mountain Bike Orienteering in the Peak District.
In the past the weekend has been miss-identified as an elite event, however it can be ridden by all abilities as long as you are comfortable reading an ordinance survey map and can be self-sufficient for up to 5 hours of off-road riding.
Day 1 will be a 5 hours course & Day 2 a 3 hours course, you can choose to ride one or both days. Full details & event rules can be found on the BMBO website above.
There is camping available at the stunningly located Rowter Farm from the Friday evening until Sunday afternoon which will need to book separately. The site has plenty of room, with showers & toilet facilities available. You will need to bring your own food & drink, but there are plenty of pubs & shops in nearby Castleton if you wish to head out in the evening.
PITCHES can be booked from 1 APRIL 2024, the cost is £15 per person per night or £20 for two sharing a tent or van. Contact details are on the website below, please QUOTE BMBO National Champs when making your booking, payment will be taken on arrival.

From Stockport/Chesterfield/Buxton/Chapel/Bakewell follow postcode SK178ET. Get to the Wanted inn pub, go round the gable end of pub signposted Castleton. Go on there 2 1/2 miles. Past a Farm on the right and through a dip in the road and our gate is on the right. Rowter Farm.
From Sheffield/Hope Valley. come to Castleton. Go all the way through the village , turn left where signposted Speedwell cavern. Go up the steep hill Winnats Pass to the top. Go left at the junction at the top. 200 yards its a gate on the left. Rowter Farm.
