A stunning mixed terrain 10km race. Starting and finishing at the Plume of Feathers Pub in beautiful Portscatho, on Cornwall’s Roseland Peninsula. The race begins at 09:30am on Sunday 13th October 2024.
The course will take you amongst incredible coastal scenery, including the south west coastal path. You will run past the famous Hidden Hut and across Porthcurnick beach. From here the route heads up and through local country lanes, where you will enjoy endless views to both the north and south. You will pass by the historic Gerrans Church and head on towards Towan beach, where you will find a well-deserved hydration station. Turning Eastwards you will begin to head back towards Portscatho, with a fast downhill finish.
The Portscatho 10km is an undulating mixed terrain event but is very achievable for every level of runner.
The race will be fully marshalled and marked with signage. A rolling road closure will be in action.

Registration: from 07:30am
You must be 16+ on race day to enter.
A selection of cold and hot drinks, including tea and coffee, as well as an excellent selection of food will be available to consume within the Plume of Feathers pub. Friends, family and all spectators are welcome to use the pub before, during and after the race.
Please take any litter home with you or dispose in bins. Any littering will result in disqualification.
Toilets:
There are toilets available in the Plume of Feathers pub.
There are public toilets available next to the coffee shop in the village.
Parking:
There is ample free and paid parking in and around Portscatho. The Car park on New Road is our recommended parking spot for the event.
Please be kind and courteous to local residence when parking. Please carpool where possible.
There will not be a bag drop available.
