12-hour ultra marathon on the Formartine & Buchan railway line between Maud station and Auchnagatt, the total distance from Maud to Auchnagatt is estimated 4.3miles, competitors to run as much distance as they can within the 12 hours gaining a minimum distance of 26.3 to qualify for a medal and goodie bag, a few extra miles will be needed to complete and confirm that minimum distance lap, Mini laps will be open towards the end of the race. Only completed mini short laps are counted

How far can your mind take you?
Having completed a marathon is preferred but not a requirement
You are advised to have a support crew and crews can provide support at either end

Male and Female Senior, Veteran, Vet 50, Vet 60
Also, a bespoke overall male and female champion trophy which will be returned to the race organisers every year.
