Welcome to Scottish Orienteering League (SOL) event 5 at Alvie Estate providing a wonderful varied and technical area for orienteering.
Map / Terrain
Alvie provides a varied area consisting of Scots pine plantation and older, mature Caledonian pine forest. There is some intricate juniper thickets in the west and a large area of open moor. The north west section of the map has a beautiful mature forest area with subtle contour detail. The map is being fully updated for the event.
Registration and Start times
Registration, Enquiries and Download will be in the field adjacent to the parking.
Starts are from 11.00-13.00
Course Information
A full range of SOL courses will be available: White, Yellow, Orange, Light Green, Very Short Green Short Green, Green, Short Blue, Blue, Short Brown, Brown and Black.
