FRA registered fell race; AS ,4.4km, 390 climb .
Start: 7.00pm. (EARLIER THAN OTHER SUMMER RACES)
Race Registration, Number and Dibber pick up at The Ragleth Inn, Ludlow Road, Little Stretton SY6 6RE. We are using the back garden outdoor “Hayloft” for registration, number pick up, and the presentation after. Please use the Pub toilets. DO NOT use the camp site toilet!
Please park in the signed car park field off Elms Paddock-SY6 6 RD only 50 meters away from the Inn. Please DO NOT park in the Pub car park, as this is for other Ragleth Inn patrons.
Mass start of race in Ashes Hollow road junction at 7pm. Earlier than other summer races.
Minimum age for the senior race is FRA Category U17 (15th Birthday before Dec31st 2024 )
There will be Junior races - Distances increasing with age category. Enter on the night. Straight up and down Callow hill.
Entries on night for Seniors £10
For the Senior race. This is a new race route for this year, similar but in the opposite direction from usual. You can go any way you like between the 3 dibbers. The first is in Callow hollow just over from the stream crossing. Then half way up the climb out of the Hollow, and finally the Callow summit. The finish is just on a flat area above the previous finish to avoid any injuries!!
There will be an additional prize for the fastest descent to the finish who hasn’t already won a prize. Presentations in the Pub.
Compulsory kit to carry - wind or rain top please.
After costs, Some funds from this race will go to The National Trust, The Severn Hospice, Church Stretton Medical Centre Friends (at the request of the Parking field owner) and Church Stretton first responders.
