An early bird discount of €100 is available for teams of 4 that enter before the end November 2024. The full price for a team of 2 to enter the Beast is €500 ( €250 per person) and includes everything above. An early bird discount of €50 is available for teams of 2 that enter before end November 2024. Race Insurance: For insurance purposes, all race participants must be members of ARI. Annual membership ( 2025) can be taken out by adventure racers in Ireland. A single event membership option will be available for race participants / teams travelling to Ireland for the race. |

The Beast Adventure Race is one of Ireland most iconic and challenging team adventure races. It has been run in different locations around Ireland over the years including the Ballyhoura Region in Co. Cork and in more recent times in Donegal and Northern Ireland.
Adventure Racing Ireland ( ARI) will take over the hosting of the race from Ivan Parke and Eoghan Carton who have managed the event in recent years. We thank Ivan and Eoghan for hosting great races over the years.
The Beast returns to Ireland in 2025, moving to the southeast for the first time, with a base in Carlow town, just 1.5hrs from Dublin.
The race will include a prologue and 24 hour race that will include all the usual disciplines in an expedition adventure race ( mountain biking, trekking, orienteering, kayaking) with a few special challenges thrown in.
Teams of two or four can enter and you can expect to visit and experience much of scenic landscapes in the southeast of Ireland and also enjoy a great after race party.
The race will serve as the 4 Nations Championship race in 2025 and is being hosted on the Spring Bank Holiday weekend 2025, to assist teams coming across from the Wales, England and Scotland for the race. We hope a good few teams can come across and we also welcome teams from all over Europe.
