Having celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2024, Storm The Castle continues to be one of the UK’s most popular and most challenging duathlons.
Each year, athletes return to do battle with this legendary race on the streets and surrounding countryside of Ludlow. With two distances to choose as well as a Junior Storm for under 16s, Storm The Castle needs to be a part of your 2025 race calendar. Will you be #leftinruins?
Traditionally, this has always been a tough 48km distance duathlon. In 2023 we introduced a 30km Sprint Course, which has proved very popular.
Full Storm: approx. 10km run, 33km bike, 5km run format,
Sprint Storm: approx. 5km run, 23km bike and 2.5km,
The Radnor Rascal Junior Storm 800m fun run will also return. Junior Stormers must be 15 years and under with those 10 years and under being accompanied by an adult.
To participate in this event, you are required to become a member of British Triathlon and hold a race licence.
