The Looe 10 Miler is an open event and is also part of the Cornish Grand Prix series. In 2025 we are once again raising money for the Cornwall Air Ambulance.
The Route:
An undulating run through West Looe and out onto the coastal road to Talland. A loop around the Killigarth, Porthallow area brings you back down to Talland for the return leg to the finish. We regret that the course is not suitable for wheelchairs. No dogs, pushchairs or walkers.
The race starts and finishes in the Millpool Car Park next to race HQ. There will be three water stations on the route around miles 3, 6 and 9. You must obey marshal instructions and take responsibility for your own safety whilst running the course, especially on the public highway. Marshals are not allowed to stop any traffic.
Please note that runners must not use any portable device with earphones, headphones or earbuds. Failure to comply with this requirement will result in your disqualification and your time will not be recorded.
Registration:
The race HQ will be downstairs in The Millpool Centre and registration will be from 09:00 to 10:30. Pre-entries must collect their race numbers on the morning of the race, on the day entries will be available if numbers allow. The postcode for the Millpool Centre is PL13 2AF, as you enter Looe, please follow the Race Signage for the Millpool Car Park.
The race will start at 11:00 with a 'Mini Miler', children's race beforehand at 10:00. Entry details for the 'Mini Miler' are available on the dedicated entry page.
Parking:
There is ample ‘Pay & Display’ parking available in the Millpool Car Park. This is a Cornwall Council car park and costs £4.80 for 4 hours and £6.00 for 24 hours. Please do car share if at all possible.
Refreshments:
Hot/cold drinks and food will be available to purchase for runners and spectators from The Brew Box and Coasters, Looe, who will have mobile stands.
Transfers and deferrals:
If you are unable to run due to injury you can defer your place until the following year or transfer the entry to another runner up until midnight on Friday, 23 February. No transfers or deferrals will be permitted after this date. You can transfer via your SiEntries account and to defer, please email your details to the Race Director.
