THE FINAL DETAILS HAVE NOW BEEN ISSUED BY EMAIL TO ALL THAT HAVE ENTERED. THEY ARE ALSO AVAILABLE WE DO HAVE A NUMBER OF MAPS AVAILABLE FOR LATE ENTRIES AND ENTRIES ON THE DAY (UNTIL THEY RUN OUT!) IT IS STILL BEST TO USE THIS ON LINE ENTRY SYSTEM EVEN IF ENTERING ON THE DAY! ON LINE ENTRIES REMAIN OPEN ONLY UNTIL THE MAPS RUN OUT.
Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a team of 3 or more. Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT juniors under 18 who can go for free with a paying adult. Juniors up to age 18 can go for free but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 21. Juniors aged 16 and above can run alone with parental permission. A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants.

Saturday Afternoon Town & Country Spunch Event - 1/2/3 hour score course options exploring Macclesfield's green corridors, parks, surrounding countryside and town centre streets. Bag drop, Loos, Start, Finish, Food & Drink all at the Fountain Cafe Bar, 32 Park Green, Macclesfield, SK11 7NA.
Navigating with a 1:10,000 enhanced OO Street Map.
Within 25 mins from M6 J17-J19 and M60 junctions.
The event centre is a 5min (400m) walk from Macclesfield Train Station which is well served by trains from Manchester Piccadilly (20-30mins) and Stoke-on-Trent (15-20mins).
Run, jog or walk - suitable for road runners, trail runners, park runners, fell runners, adventure runners, orienteers, walkers, and newcomers alike. Great for families and friends to do together. Suitable for all ages and abilities - lots of help available for newcomers. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
Start anytime between 1pm & 2pm. Registration open from 12:30pm.
2k to 22k, the choice is yours!
Visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, S-punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.
A new Spunch venue and area - we bring you the best bits of Macclesfield - great running and walking in mostly green spaces as you pass through the towns parkland via good canal and riverside trails, connecting streets and surrounding countryside, with a few checkpoints in the towns bustling centre. Even locals may discover parts that they don't normally reach!
Plentiful parking close to the cafe bar event centre. Food and drink available from the bar after your run / walk, to be enjoyed either indoors or outdoors.
A particularly good one for families, friends and newcomers as the terrain is more "gentle" than some of our recent hillier outings. Give the kids some fresh air during their summer holidays? What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon in Macclesfield?!
With around 100 Spunchpoints to go for, and a 3 hour option to consider, could you get the lot?!
