Kong Winter Fell Series 24/25 in Association with SPORTident
This route has it all – fast running traversing the flanks of Blencathra through fields, a tough climb up the stunning Doddick fell to reach Blencathra summit, super-fast ridgeline running to Blease Fell then a steep technical descent back to the car park.
This race is not for the faint hearted – if you are new to fell running or are not confident on steep rocky descents, then this is not the race for you!
F.R.A. rules apply in all races - please ensure you bring correct kit.
Prizes will be awarded both for the winners on the day and for the overall series winners (best 4 from 5) in all the usual age categories!
All competitors who complete all 5 races will win a series prize.
Race Starts at 11am. Please arrive at latest half an hour before race start for registration.
Minimum age to enter is 16 on the day. Anyone under 18 must run with an accompanying adult who is responsible for them.
