A 26.5 mile circular route with an elevation of just under 6000ft. Fully Tracked
The Blencathra Marathon is a fell event suitable for experienced fell and trail runners, and fell walkers.
The route takes in 5 Wainwright Summits, you'll start in Caldbeck and make your way around a circular marathon route. You'll summit Bowscale, Blencathra, Mungrisdale Common, Knott and High Pike, before returning to Caldbeck.
Entrance fee includes a finishers medal, t-shirt, 2 water checkpoints, snacks and hot drinks at the end of the route and the happy faces of two of the most excited race directors you could ever wish to see!
Parking Available in the village.
Trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in male, female, and non-binary.
