New for 2025 Event - 2 Cut-Off points - Due to the need to remove the road closures and get the roads open to traffic by the times on our permits, we must have a time limit for the event. The 10mile cut off has been in place for many years, the 15 mile cut off is new for 2025.
Cut off point 1 - strict cut off time at the 10 mile point is 2 hours 20 mins, measured by the half-way clock, located after the drinks station and village of Packington at the start of the second lap. Any runners not making the cut off will be withdrawn from the race at this point and directed back to the bath grounds.
Cut off point 2 - Strict cut off time at the 15 mile point is 3 hours 30 mins, measured by the gun time. 15 miles is approximately Heather Village Hall. Runners who do not meet the cut off should plan to arrange their own transport back. For those unable to do so, safe transfer back to the bath grounds will be provided. It is not safe to walk the route back without the road closures in place.
This roughly equates to a 4 hours 45 mins race finish time. The Ashby20 team reserve the right to withdraw runners from the race if this time is going to be exceeded and the roads need to be reopened, even after the 15 mile cut-off point. This to ensure the safety of our competitors and marshals, as the roads need to be reopened following these timings.
Please leave bags at the secure area at the Finish, so you have warm clothes etc. as soon as you finish. NOTE: There will be NO bag drop at Ashby Leisure Centre (previously known as Hood Park) this year.
All entrants covered by the rights in the Data Protections Act/GDPR.
