BM MBO/OMM BIKE SOUTH WYE VALLEY - Day One

Details - A two day Mountain Bike navigation challenge, on the start line you will be given a fully marked waterproof OS map of the course area. You then need to plan a route to ride to as many checkpoints as you can & get back to base as close to the 4 hour time limit as possible. The courses will see you exploring the fantastic trail network on both sides of the River Wye & also into the Forest.

The Spring event will be mirrored by another similar event in the Autumn in Yorkshire. The week ends will comprise of two 4 hour courses & you cumulative score over both days will count towards your final total. Prizes will be awarded to the top riders & we hope to have a Grand Prize which will be awarded to the rider with the highest cumulative score over all 4 course on both the Spring & Autumn fixtures.

Camping - Camping for tents, caravans & campervans will be available at the venue from Friday evening until Sunday afternoon, you can arrive from 4pm & the gates will be closed at 9pm. The campsite has toilets & hot showers but no electric hook-ups. You can book a pitch when you go through the entry process, we are limited to 25 pitches so get your place booked now to avoid disappointment. We would like to minimise movement on & off the site so once pitched please try not to move your vehicle until Sunday. Please also note the minimum age to stay on the site is 12 years old.

Other Accommodation - If you would like a little more luxury there are two cottages right next to the venue. Booking is via the links here Swanpool & Ann's Cottage   If you have a vehicle that requires electric, camping with hook-ups is available just up the road at Greenacres Campsite

Day Parking - This will be in the orchard to the rear of the campsite & you will be directed to this when you arrive.

Pub - The Ostrich Inn is just a 10 minute stroll or 2 minute bike ride from the venue, they know about the event but we recommend you book if you plan to eat there. Menu & Booking
