Derwentside A.C look forward to welcoming you to this years Hellhole Trail Race.
Our new trail based route has been popular over the last couple of years. It visits local scenic woodlands including Hellhole Wood and is approximately 5 miles long. The 2024 race results can be found on the Derwentside A.C. website.
RUNNER PARKING IS AT SHIELD ROW PRIMARY SCHOOL. From 8:00
Race starts 10:00am sharp
Shield Row School have allowed us to use the car park and grounds.
School address: King Edward VIII Terrace, DH9 0HQ.
Please park responsibly, car share where possible and arrive in plenty of time to collect your number.
Online entries by the end of August guaranteed memento and goodie bag.
Online entries from September 1st and on the day entries if available: goody bag, and memento not guaranteed. Price increase of £2.00 for entries on the day. CASH ONLY FOR ON THE DAY ENTRIES!
Race registration to be confirmed early in 2025 close to the start line. The Race presentation will be held in the Ball Alley pub at approximately 11.30 depending on runners finishing the race. The pub will be open for refreshments.

Race starts on the Sustrans track. 10:00.
The 2024 race was run under UK Athletics rules, and licensed by the Trail Runners Association. 2025 details to be confirmed.
The minimum age for entering the race is 16 years old on 14th September 2025.
