Entrants can choose to run any course, but entries are required to be by Age Categories (or run up) to count for the NWUL.

Preliminary Details
This event is organised by SROC – Red Rose Orienteers. It is an urban event with courses planned to Urban guidelines which is based in seaside town of Morecambe. Morecambe enjoys one of the finest views from its promenade of any seaside town in England and is the home and inspiration for some of our well-loved comedians and writers, including Alan Bennett, Eric Morecambe, Thora Hird and Victoria Wood. The courses use the pedestrianised town centre and surrounding residential streets as well as passing iconic buildings such as The Midland Hotel and Winter Gardens.
Location and Travel
The assembly point will be in Morecambe Library, Morecambe Library, Central Drive, Morecambe. LA4 5DL

The start and finish are situated close to the library. There is adequate parking close to the event centre. There are no changing facilities at assembly, but clothing can be left.
There are toilets at the event centre
Regular buses from Lancaster stop close by.
Entries
Entries are via Sientries, Pre-entries close at 9pm on Friday 29th November 2024. The fees for entries up to 29th November 2024 are £10.00 for seniors (BO members) £11.00 (non-members) and £3.00 for students/ juniors. Limited entries on the day, £12.00 (BO members) £13 (non-members), £3.00 students/juniors (depending on map availability). SROC juniors (free entries). Hire SI-card charged £1.
The course lengths are provisional, subject to final controlling. Timed crossings for juniors.

The map is a new map by Graham Capper, scale 1:4000, drawn to ISSPROM 2019/2 specification.
Start and Finish
The start and finish are both located near to the event centre.
Start times are from 10:30 – 12:30.
Competitors choose their start time when entering.
