A run round the ‘Pendle Massif’ visiting parts of the hill less visited by other races. The terrain is a mixture of defined path and boggy moorland trod with some steep climbs, grassy descents and some route choice. The route has been stable for the last few years, however any changes are at the request of local land owners/stakeholders. A map of the route will be available for free to download from the Clayton Harriers website. No excuse for not having one! At time of writing we anicipate the route being the same as 2024.
The races early spring positioning mean the weather quite frequently plays its part from ridiculously warm conditions to waist deep snow – all have been enjoyed in recent years.
Please note the route and distance are not suitable for novice runners in bad weather/poor visibility.
Please note 2025 CP locations will be the same as the 2024 race as listed below. The map is on the Clayton Harriers Website free download/print.
