The Five Rivers Ultra, taking the established beautiful route through the Dedham Vale and Suffolk Coast & Heaths Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The route offers a relatively flat course through unspoilt countryside with sparkling estuary waters nearly always in view. More than 85% of the route is on grass or dirt trail. Conditions underfoot are typically good, here in one of Britain's driest regions.
A continuous point-to-point race along the Essex & Suffolk coast, linking together sections of several well-established and waymarked long distance footpaths.
The full 100 mile route circumnavigates 5 coastal estuaries, a 50 mile and 50 km option is also available and equally as stunning along coastal estuaries.
There is a coach option for the 100 mile event from the finish to the start in Blaxhall (extra cost).
The 100 mile event has a generous 32 hour cut-off.
The 50 mile start is from Trimley St. Martin at 15:00 on Saturday, 10th with a 24 hour cut-off
The 50km start is from Shotley at 06:00 on Sunday, 11th with a 9 hour cut-off.
