OBJECT
To complete your chosen total distance in any combination of loops, on foot following route descriptions. THESE YOU WILL NEED TO PRINT IN ADVANCE. There are 10, 8 x 2, 6 & 5 mile loops plus a wheelchair friendly interest walk.
DETAILS
The walk follows mainly field paths, tracks, woods & streams, through undulating country side with good views from the hills traversed of the Chilterns.
EQUIPMENT
We advise you to wear suitable footwear & clothing, waterproofs, maps covering the routes are OS LR165 or OS EXP181. You MUST have your own DRINKING MUG & either your printed route descriptions & compass or downloaded GPX files & a note of the emergency phone number. Route descriptions and GPX files will be available to download on the BBN website from 26th May 2025.
DOGS
Dogs are allowed on this event, BUT NO DOGS are allowed in HQ. (except assistance dogs). ALL MUST be on leads at all times & MUST have appropriate liability insurance.
PARKING
There will be parking on the school grounds at the back of the Hall. Please follow Marshal’s directions.

Wendover Rail Station is only 15 minutes walk away from the start.
AWARDS
This event is not a race & there are no prizes. However, a certificate will be awarded to everyone who completes their chosen distance. Badges will be available on request while stocks last.
THERE WILL BE NO ENTRIES ON THE DAY & ENTRIES ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE
THERE WILL BE NO SUBSTITUTIONS
CANCELLATION:-A £2.00 admin fee will be charged on refunds for cancellations advised before 12th May 2025, after this date no refunds will be given but, if your place is filled from the waiting list, a donation will be made to the local Air Ambulance.
