Newquay 10k Road Race is back for 2025.
This is the 2nd event in the Cornish Grand Prix Series 2025.

THE ROUTE
Newquay 10k is generally a fairly flat fast course with one Cornish lane providing a hill within the first mile. 2025 will be the same route as in previous years, with a number of traffic controlled junctions and roundabouts along the course.

FINISHER GOODIES
As a club we are trying to improve year on year to ensure our environmental impact is reduced as much as possible to help preserve our running playground as much as possible whilst still putting on a great race for everyone to enjoy. So please note there may be a cut off date for guaranteed finisher goodies - Information will be updated here if and when this is confirmed.

THE OPTION TO OPT OUT: This year we are giving all runners the option to opt out of finisher goodies. We know that some local runners are only doing races when this is an option for environmental issues and 100% back this decision. If you do opt out this will be marked on your race number and you won’t be able to change your mind once entered.

CHARITY
This year 50p from every entry will be donated to The Brain Tumour Charity, a chosen chairty by the Newquay Road Runner committee. The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity, moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour or brain cancer.

PARKING
In your race pack there we will be details of local car parks which are a 5-10minute walk from Race HQ. There will be NO parking on the Newquay Sports Centre site.

BAG DROP
There will be a bag drop. More information on this will be in your race pack sent out the week of the race.

RULES & DISQUALIFICATION
Please make yourself aware of the England Athletics and Cornish Grand Prix rules ahead of the race. Two key rules we stand firmly on are:

  • NO HEADPHONES TO BE WORN DURING THE RACE
  • FOLLOW MARSHALLS DIRECTIONS AND INSTRUCTIONS AT ALL TIMES. (This includes when to cross roads)
