This race is a counter for the Callin Wild Manx Fell Running league for 2025. It is also a counter for the Junior and short course leagues. Race rules and league eligibility requirements can be found at this link https://manxfellrunners.org/rules Please note that to be eligible for the league you must join MFR or a suitable IoM athletics club by 18/06/2025, and cover a marshal slot in 2025.

Race Route - Starting at the far side of the cricket pitch, run around the outside of the pitch, turn left along the road for 20yd, turn right along lane, through the stream, ascend the steep track, cross the road and enter the plantation GR. 277814. Follow the flagged route to the top of the plantation and proceed along the ridge to Slieau Whallian summit GR. 265805. Descend to the finish following flags along a similar route to the ascent.
Fancy dress is optional. If worn, it should not hinder running. Costumes must allow safe running and overtaking on ground which is often steep and slippery, with some very narrow paths and low branches. No fancy dress objects to be carried please.
