Edinburgh University Orienteering Club invites you to its annual festival of orienteering in the heart of Scotland's capital. The Edinburgh Big Weekend is Edinburgh’s premier orienteering competition!
Held at the end of January, interesting terrain, great courses, and lively social events help attract over 600 participants every year. The 2025 event will be no different.
Following the conclusion of WOC 2024, The Edinburgh Big Weekend will return to its roots with a Friday evening Fight With The Night around Edinburgh University's Kings Buildings.
On Saturday we have the long-awaited Edinburgh City Race Urban around the centre of the Scottish capital with the option of an Elite Sprint.
Sunday will entail the Arthurs Seat Classic with challenging courses and picturesque views with another Elite Sprint in the unique housing estate of Dumbiedykes which was the host of the quarter-finals of WOC 2024 Knock-Out Sprint.
