Boghopper Races are thrilled to announce their first beginner friendly Trail Marathon and Half Marathon. We have taken over the race from Positive Steps PT after many successful years.
The Course
The Marriott's Way Marathon follows the Marriott’s Way from Norwich with the Marriot's Way Half Marathon starting at Whitwell and Reepham Station.
An easy to follow route on a traffic free course. Runners and walkers welcome, with generous time allowances. The course has not been measured by a UKA approved course measurer, therefore the distances are approximate.
Race Info
Marathon registration and start Marriott's Way start, nr Barker Street, Norwich.
Half Marathon registration and start at Whitwell and Reepham Station, Reepham.
- Marathon start at 09:00 with 8 hours to reach the finish.
- Half marathon start at 10:00 with 4 hours to reach the finish.
- Limited to 300 participants.
- Minimum age on race day: Marathon - 18 years, Half marathon 17 years
- A unique medal to all finishers
- Race number collected on the day.
- Water provided on the route at approx.10km intervals.
- Snacks at half way (marathon only)
- First aid services
- Hot drinks and snacks at the finish in Aylsham Town Hall
- Prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd finishers in both Female and Male/Open categories, in both races.
Supporters encouraged along the route.
Buses and the train station are a short distance from the finish in Aylsham Town Centre. We encourage you to use public transport or car share to limit the environmental impact.
Deferrals and refunds are not allowed, but transfers to another participant are allowed until midday Sunday 23rd February.
We are LGBT friendly. We are non-binary friendly. You can enter our race as Female (Females only category), Male or non-binary (Male/Open category).
