Entries for the courses will be through SIEntries only and will close at 23:30 on Sunday 17th November 2024. Map orders will be sent immediately after this and therefore there will be strictly no late entries.
No dogs on course or inside the hall.
We are most grateful to the Episcopal Church (specifically custodian Sandra) for use of the Wheatley Hall. There will be soup available for a donation.
Please REMOVE DIRTY/SPIKED SHOES at the door.
Hiviz reflective clothing is recommended for all; Long course competitors MUST have some reflective clothing due to the road crossing. Long course - over 16's only due to road crossing on the course.
Shadowing and Juniors. Note that anyone under the age of 14 MUST be accompanied on the course by an adult unless the parent/guardian can convince the organiser of the young orienteer's proven competence at night orienteering. If you shadow a junior on the Short/Long you should declare yourself non-competitive to the organiser if later running one of those courses.
Spare torch (emergency 'get you home' torch) & whistles are required and mobiles strongly recommended at all NNC events. Random kit checks may take place. An extra top layer and high-vis reflective clothing may also be sensible choices depending on the weather on the night.
There will be dog walkers and other people around in the event area, please be aware and considerate of others.
