The experience of running in the snow at night in the Scottish mountains makes Snow Running a unique event in the UK Hill Running Calendar.
Hill running circuit around Glenshee ski station on the compact piste snow, run at sunset and into the winter night. Short (6.5km) and long (11.5km) courses for range of abilities.
Designed as a challenging but fun event. You can run it as an opportunity to simply experience the challenge of the snowy hills at night or as a fierce mountain competitor chasing the trophy!
Plus you get to "bag" 2 Munros in the process (Carn Aosda and the Cairnwell).
Registration includes:
- Trophy for category winners
- Commemorative Snow Running pendant
- Race Timing and results
- An emergency plan in conjunction with Glenshee Ski Center
- Access to Tea@Theshee Café for prize giving and post race refreshments

There will be a time limit….2hrs 45 mins for the full course.Anyone that takes more than 1hr 15 mins on Loop 1 will be asked to complete only the short course. A tail runner will be deployed.
