Boghopper Races are thrilled to announce their second beginner friendly Trail Marathon and Half Marathon.
The Course
Marriott's Way Full Marathon follows the Marriott’s Way from Sloughbottom Park, Norwich
Marriott's Way Half Marathon starting at Whitwell and Reepham Station, Reepham
An easy to follow route, on a traffic free course. Runners and walkers welcome, with generous time allowances. The course has not been measured by a UKA approved course measurer, therefore the distances are approximate.
Race Info
Marathon registration and start Sloughbottom Park, Norwich, NR3 2BN.
Half Marathon registration and start at Whitwell and Reepham Station, Reepham, NR10 4GA
- Marathon start at 09:00 with 8 hours to reach the finish.
- Half marathon start at 10:30 with 4 hours to reach the finish.
- Limited to 300 participants.
- Minimum age on race day: Marathon - 18 years, Half marathon 17 years
- A unique medal to all finishers
- Race number collected on the day.
- Water provided on the route at approx.10km intervals.
- Sweets and Jaffa cakes at checkpoints
- First aid services
- Hot drinks and snacks at the finish in Aylsham Town Hall
- Prizes for 1st place Female and Male/Open categories, in both races.
Supporters encouraged along the route.
Buses and the train station are a short distance from the finish in Aylsham Town Centre. We encourage you to use public transport or car share to limit the environmental impact.
Deferrals and refunds are not allowed, but transfers to another participant are allowed until midday Sunday 8th February 2026.
We are LGBT friendly. We are non-binary friendly. You can enter our race as Female (Females only category), Male or non-binary (Male/Open category).
