The Wokingham Bikeathon is a fun and relaxed way to enjoy cycling round the quieter roads of Berkshire.
With a choice of four courses, an extra long route-50 mile, a long 35-mile route, a 25 mile-route, and a shorter 15-mile version, the event is open to all standards of cyclists. Participants range from young children to veteran riders, from occasional bikers to regulars.
Everyone cycles at their own speed or alongside their friends and families.
Please Note: all riders must wear a helmet.
The routes are planned carefully to maximise the use of calmer backroads, passing through many interesting and pretty parts of Berkshire. The courses are well signposted.
There are drink and snack stops on the courses, offering a chance to take a rest, pick up a snack and chat with other cyclists.
The ride starts and finishes close to Wokingham town centre, where there are plenty of bars, cafés and restaurants to refuel you after your cycle.
