Event HQ will be based out of Stair, Newlands Valley and we've decided to run the event form the parking field with a marquee for cover. (Please note we will not have any inside space for shelter). Nav4 adventure will be providing some warming refreshments (soup and hot drinks) after the race. The race will be run under FRA rules, full kit will be required plus a mandatory base layer. The route is partly marked and well marshalled. The race will head from Stair to the Newlands Valley road, then up to Rowling End, passed Sleet Hause and up to the summit of Causey Pike. The return route descends off Causey, hits the miners path that follows Stoneycroft Gill and returns to Stair.
We'd ask folk to make the parking etc. as straight forward as possible for us. Please do car share if possible. Parking will be available in a nearby field at the cost of £5 per car (payable in cash on the day).
At the finish the usual refreshments will be provided, tea, coffee, juice, soup and cake (what more could you want??) but PLEASE bring your own cup!!
Maps will be available at race HQ on the day at a cost of £1.

All entrants are asked to respect the local community, be considerate and take all litter home.
