*SPUNCH* Leek - Red Lion
Rolling start - Start time to suit you, anytime between 530pm and 730pm. Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a team of 3 or more. Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT juniors under 18 who can go for free with a paying adult. Juniors up to age 18 go for FREE but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 21. Juniors aged 16 and above can run alone with parental permission. A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants.

60, 90 and 120 min score course options (choose on the night itself). Bag Drop, Loos, Start, Finish, Food & Drink all at the Red Lion. Urban Street Spunch in the dark for runners & walkers. Family friendly & dog friendly too.
Our night-time no-mud* Street Spunch Series continues - this time in the attractive market town of Leek in North Staffs. Very handy for the Potteries, Biddulph, Congleton, Macclesfield, Buxton and Ashbourne etc,
Run, jog or walk - suitable for road runners, trail runners, park runners, fell runners, adventure racers, orienteers, walkers, newcomers, and families alike. 2k to 22k, the choice is yours! Great for families and friends to do together. Suitable for all ages and abilities - lots of help available for newcomers. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
Start at your convenience anytime between 530pm & 730pm. (Last start for 120min & 90min courses 645pm & 715pm respectively). Registration open from 530pm. Wear hi-visibility clothing and bring a torch / head torch!
Navigating with an enhanced and simplified 1:10,000 OO street map, visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, S-punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.
Explore the town's quiet streets and snickets and well surfaced trails through the town's green spaces. Some hilly bits, some less hilly bits, including sections in the historic town centre, Brough Park, Brow Hill, Woodcroft & Pickwood areas. Even locals will likely discover new paths and places!
Excellent Food & Drink available in the Red Lion after your run / walk. The pub is child friendly. Well behaved dogs welcome too.
With around 60-70 Spunchpoints to go for - how many will you bag?
About 30-35 mins from M6 J15/16/17/18 (subject to traffic). Ample and convenient parking within 5mins walk.
Catch the Spunch Train. The closest train stations are Congleton and Stoke-on-Trent. Both about a 20 minute cab ride away.
