A fell run to test runners resiliance as you're taken up to the summit of Hedgehope and back down.  Beginners look away now.  Set in the depths of winter you will need to be able to handle whatever the weather throws at you.  In previous years we've had sleet, snow and strong winds trying to knock people off their feet.  We always try and get some water in there somewhere as well.

This deep winter half marathon (ish) run is fully marked and lined with marshals to help you out should you have any problems.  It's essential that you take all the required kit as winter can bite at any time.  When you get back we'll give you a massive pat on the back and some stomach warming soup to bring you back to life.
