The Doone Run – where goats meet their match!
Organised and run by Ilfracombe Running Club the Doone Run is an outstanding Trail run within Exmoor National Park amid the breathtaking scenery surrounding beautiful Lynmouth.
Runners taking part in this 10 mile race will be treated to a challenging course along coastal paths and wooded riverside banks encompassing stunning scenery from Watersmeet to the Valley of the Rocks. The mixture of roads, paths and trails comprises an unusual course which promises a varied physical challenge for all participants.
This year we will once again be raising funds for ChemoHero ( https://www.chemohero.org/) – a North Devon charity that gives a box of kindness to chemotherapy patients on their first treatment. The box contains useful and luxury items to help the patient through their cancer journey.
The Doone Run is a running event. For the safety of all participants and to minimize the time marshals are kept out on the course in sometimes inclement weather, there will a cut off point. You must reach the 5 mile point at The Olde Cottage Inn in 1hr 20 mins. Failure to do so means you will be withdrawn from the race at that marshal point.
Trail Running Association permit No: 7013 (minimum age 17)

The race is limited to 250 entrants so get your entry in fast!
The course will be fully marshaled
You will be emailed with all the race information a week before the big day.
Race numbers to be collected from Race HQ on the day.
In the event you are unable to attend this year once booked deferments will not be possible and a refund against cancellation will only be available once the race is full & if we are able to reallocate your place
