Courses can be completed solo, in a pair, or as a team of 3 or more BUT each participant needs to put in an individual entry. Minimum age 14. This is a navigation score event using an OS Explorer map (1:12 500) based in and around Grasmere.
You can choose from 60, 90 or 120 minute course options and will have this amount of time to visit as many checkpoints as you can – collecting points as you go using the MapRun app on your smartphone.
The course options use the network of public footpaths and bridleways within the valley and fells surrounding Grasmere.
You can run, jog or walk the courses which are accessible for all abilities. If you have never tried a navigation event before – this is a great place to start!
No dogs allowed.
Parking is in Grasmere village, please use the public car parks and park considerately.
Toilets are at registration.
