Run Nidderdale is a 6 mile trail race for all abilities through the beautiful Nidderdale countryside. As well as a fantastic race and a family friendly atmosphere, two-thirds of proceeds will be donated in equal amounts to each of the club's nominated charities; Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association.
The route takes you up through Guisecliff Woods, onto the moor and across to the trig point which has some stunning views. You will then head along the Nidderdale Way past the famous 'Two Stoops' before dropping back down into Pateley and back to the Nidderdale Showground.
In addition, there will also be a short course within the Nidderdale Showground for a fun kid's race. This will be entry on the day only at a cost of £5.
All races start and finish on the Nidderdale Showground. Parking and toilets available on site and locally.

- Trail race: 1000
- Kid's race: 0900
Distance:
- Trail race: 6 miles
- Kid's race: Various between approx. 1km and 3km for age categories of 5-7, 8-11 and 12-16
Prizes
- There will be prizes for winners in the open, V40, V50 and V60 categories. There will also be spot prizes and prizes for the kid's race for each age category.
- There is a £50 cash prize for the male and female course record if broken!
- Current male course record: 38:22:05 (Set in 2023).
- Current female course record: 47:35.3 (Set in 2023).
Terms
- Minimum age 16 for the trail race & minimum age 5 for the kid's race.
- Parents/guardians remain responsible for children at all times and parents are welcome to accompany children on the run.
- Unfortunately no dogs allowed in the race, but dogs are welcome in the showground on leads.
