Our draft legal event offers athletes of all abilities top class racing on fast, flat courses around the bustling MediaCityUK, Salford Quays. With distances ranging from sprint to standard including relays, we've something for every regular superhero.
FEATURES: Swim in the World-Class Dock 9. Bike on a fast, flat multi-lap course. Run around landmarks like the Lowry Theatre and Imperial War Museum North.

Payment Instructions from 06:00 on day. At the pay station purchase a pre-pay ticket valid for 9 hours (cost £6.50). You do not not have to pre-pay the day before.
Swim Caps / Race numbers:
Will be provided at registration on the day. Race belts are permitted.
Wetsuits Optional.
Competitor Info:
Ensure that you've got all the necessary clothing, refreshments and nutrition to last for the duration of the event which can take anything from 2.5-4.5 hours to complete. A tried and tested bike, wetsuit and goggles will help considerably.
There no motorbike referees out on the bike course so carry a mobile phone is you feel you need the reassurance of being able to contact race organisers whilst out on the course.
Bikes:
THE BIKE (DRAFT- LEGAL) This is held on a flat, anti-clockwise laps on a mixture of closed/open roads around MediaCityUK and the wider Salford and Trafford areas.
Standard - 6 laps (3 LONG + 3 SHORT)= 40 km
Sprint - 3 laps (2 LONG + 1 SHORT) = 21 km
Open (public) Roads
Competitors will be sharing a short section with the public. It will be signed and marshalled.
Guinness Circle Roundabout (over Centenary Bridge) - Guinness Road - Ashburton Road West - Tenax Road
Please closely observe the highway code in this section and respect other road users.
Ensure your bike is road worthy and tried, tested on race day.
Be Self Sufficient
Whilst there are mobile bike marshals out on the course to provide basic assistance competitors are encouraged to carry a basic repair kit including pump, spare inner tube.
Melior Bikes (Nick Thompson) will be based in Transition for any last minute bike checks prior to the race start.
Pick ups out on the bike course will be available for emergencies only.
Lights
Although recommended front and rear bike lights are not mandatory but optional.
