Scottish Sprints 2025 and SOUL Tweedbank

2 sprint races in one day. First race (Scottish Sprint Championships) starts 11:30-12:45, second race (SOUL) starts 13:00-14:15.
To be eligible for the Scottish Sprint Championships over 18s must either enter their own age class OR run up an age class (or classes). Competitors not aged 12 on the day of the race may only do Course 7 unaccompanied. Under 16 on the day of the race may only do Courses 6 or 7 unaccompanied. Shadowed juniors will be marked as non-competitive, and their shadower must have run their own course first. Courses 6 and 7 both comply with the requirement that under 16s should not cross busy roads.
For the SOUL race, competitors not aged 12 on the day of the race may only do Course 7 unaccompanied. Under 16 on the day of the race may only do Courses 6 or 7 unaccompanied. Courses 6 and 7 both comply with the requirement that under 16s should not cross busy roads. Competitors over 16 on the day of the race may run M/W Open. Unlike the Sprint Championships, shadowed juniors on SOUL Courses 6 and 7 remain competitive for SOUL points - the shadower must have run their own course first.
Prizegiving/Trophies
There are Scottish Sprint Championship Glass trophies for the first Scot on Men Open and Women Open. Medals for the top 3 people on all classes regardless of whether they are eligible to be Scottish Champion. Small prize for Scottish Champion in each age class. Prizegiving around 14:15hrs. There are no prizes for the SOUL race.
Family groups
Family groups should enter one of the Open classes and enter one of their juniors only, then add the additional names in the "further information" box on the entry page. Extra maps can be booked for £1 each.
