This is the 11th race (of 11) in the Cornish Multi-terrain series 2024/25 - all are very welcome to run it whether you've done any of the other races or not. Under the name "Meet Your Max", this race has been in the calendar for many years but, like the last couple of years, it is a 10K (ish) in 2025.
We are still very proud of the course which is a true multi-terrain race. The route map is here - Truro Trail 10K 2023 Route . As last year, the route finishes via the Truro School grounds (we've very grateful for their permission which enables us to continue to put on the race).
Trail shoes are still recommended!
Parking is available at Race HQ which is Truro Rugby Club, with overspill parking nearby (you will be directed by our volunteers if necessary).
Loos and a bag drop will also be available at the rugby club.
Registration will be open at 5.30pm. The race will start at 7pm.
The race is a multi-terrain race and there are all sorts of trip hazards: mud, roots, loose stones, uneven ground, etc. We will be spending a lot of time clearing the course and trying to remove hazards but a multi-terrain race is hazardous by its nature and you run it at your own risk.
There will be a team prize based on first four runners home from each affiliated club, provided they are wearing club vests and their numbers are visible. And prizes for the first three home in each category. Usual MTRS rules apply, no headphones in particular, no dogs etc.
As is tradition, every runner will get a pasty, and a beer.
Swaps - no refunds are offered but places can be transferred free of charge via the SiEntries system, up to midnight on 18th June. Please don't contact the RD about transfers - if you have a place going spare please advertise it on (1) Meet Your Max | Facebook and arrange the transfer direct via your SiEntries account.
Live results on the night will be available.
The race is run under an ARC permit and ARC's insurance. We also have a UKA provisional licence.
