*SPUNCH* LYMM VILLAGE - SPREAD EAGLE
Rolling start - Start time to suit you, anytime between 530pm and 730pm. Can be done solo, in a pair, or as a team of 3 or more. Each participant needs to put in an individual entry EXCEPT juniors under 18 who can go for free with a paying adult. Juniors up to age 18 go for FREE but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 21. Juniors aged 16 and above can run alone with parental permission. A waterproof map of the course is provided to ALL participants.

Thursday evening Village & Countryside Spunch from the village-centre Spread Eagle, 47 Eagle Brow, Lymm WA13 0AG.
60, 90 and 120 min score course options (choose on the night itself). Bag Drop, Loos, Start, Finish, Food & Drink all at the Spread Eagle. Daylight evening Spunch for runners & walkers. Family friendly & dog friendly too.
A first of two summer time Spunch visits to the charming village of Lymm (watch out for our Lymm Festival 1-2-3 Spunch on Saturday 28 June too).
Just 5 mins from M6 J20/20A & M56 J9. Lymm is particularly convenient for Warrington, Partington, Altrincham, Wilmslow, Knutsford & Northwich etc.
Run, jog or walk - suitable for road runners, trail runners, park runners, fell runners, adventure racers, orienteers, walkers, newcomers, and families alike. 2k to 22k, the choice is yours! Newcomers and locals especially welcome. Great for families and friends to do together. Suitable for all ages and abilities - lots of help available for newcomers. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
Start at your convenience anytime between 530pm & 730pm. (Last start for 90min course 715pm, last start for 120min course 645pm). Registration open from 530pm.
Navigating with a specially prepared map, visit as many checkpoints as you can in the time available, S-punching using the MapRun app on your smartphone, Garmin or Apple Watch.
Explore some of the village's quiet and quaint streets and get a taste of some of the beautiful surrounding countryside. Not a hilly one this, but still lots to explore and enjoy. As well as navigating your way through the village, you might also enjoy sections of the Bridgewater Canal, the Transpennine Trail, Lymm Dam & Bradley Brook. Even locals will likely discover new paths and places!
The Spread Eagle will provide a warm welcome with excellent Food & Drink available after your run / walk. The pub is child and dog friendly. And a nice outdoor beer garden too if the weather is kind.
With around 80 Spunchpoints to go for - how many will you bag?
Low cost car parking in the Council run village centre car parks (£1.40 after 5pm) all within 5 mins walk from the Spread Eagle.
Catch the Spunch Train. The Warrington train stations are a 15 min cab ride away. These stations are very well served by trains from Manchester, Liverpool, Crewe & Preston, and everything in between.
