Mind Over Moors Trail Race, a new annual trail running event through the stunning North Yorkshire Moors, this year in support of The Lashes Foundation and Papyrus. This race is dedicated to raising awareness and funds for mental health support and suicide prevention with every penny going to the charities, we hope to bring together a community of runners, supporters, and businesses who share our passion for this cause. The race will be just shy of 10km.
This year’s event is held in memory of Emma Spencer and Honey Cook, two young lives tragically lost to suicide. Their families and colleagues from Anglo American’s Woodsmith Project are coming together to support this challenge and make a difference in their honour. While some may take part, the focus is on raising awareness and supporting the event.
Every entry will include a free raffle ticket for the charity raffle which has almost £2000 worth of prizes to be won.
