She Who Walks: Muker to Keld

Longer Walk: 6 miles – 1200ft of ascent
We will meet at the public car park in Muker. From there we will follow rights of way over the top of Kisdon to the Corpse Road. It's quite a climb but we'll take our time and the views are worth it!
A short road section will bring us to Keld and the lovely water falls. We'll stop here for a break so bring a sandwich! If the weather is wet we may opt for a cafe stop instead.
Our return walk from Keld will take us past the Beldi Hill Mines and past Swinner Gill with lovely views. The final section is a gentle walk along Hartlakes Valley and back across the Muker Meadows.
Mandatory Kit:
- Walking boots/shoes and thick socks
- Full length trousers as some sections of the path could be overgrown. Jeans are not recommended.
- Waterproof jacket and trousers
- Warm hat and gloves
- Spare top layer in your pack
- Snacks and drinks in an easy to find section of your bag. We recommend bringing at least 500ml of drinks with you per person.
- Fully charged mobile phone
- Any personal medication needed
- A comfortable back pack to carry your own kit. You may wish to consider putting things inside a plastic bag or other waterproof bag inside your back pack
- Money for potential cafe stops and the car park
- Packed Lunch (if the forecast is good)
