Matlock Skyline Challenge for Derby MRT

A beautiful 22 mile / 35km circular route, mainly off road with 3300 feet / 1000 metres of ascent, following the high ground around Matlock and Darley Dale.
You can choose whether to walk or run it (or a mixture of both!), and you can do it solo, in a group, or make friends on the way round. It's an unmarked course, so you will need to be able to navigate, or enter with someone else who can navigate.
The route has been planned specifically for this challenge, and it's the 2nd year it's been organised as a fundraiser for Derby Mountain Rescue Team. In partnership with Ordnance Survey.
Reasons to accept the challenge:
- A fun day out, knowing that you are raising money for the Derby Mountain Rescue Team.
- Stunning route including pretty villages, stone walled meadows, moorland, woodland and even a castle!

Start Times:
- Walkers start between 8am and 9am
- Runners start start between 9am and 10am
