This year will be the 10th edition of the Hambledon Hilly. We are aiming to make it very special with a change of venue to the stunning Hambledon Vineyard, England's oldest commercial vineyard. Being based at the vineyard has allowed us to expand the event for more races and runners.
The children’s 1km and 2 km races will be held within the picturesque estate. All other races will begin and end at the vineyard with an uphill but beautiful final stretch.
The 5km with 50% trail is very runnable on quiet lanes and beautiful trails. The 10km race is also 50% trail, of which a 2km section is quite technical with ruts, roots, flint and possibly some mud. This is not a race for a personal best. The 20km will be two loops of the 10km route.
